My colleague dr Paul Bakker (Faculty of Philosophy) and I are working on the Quaestiones in tres Aristotelis Libros De Anima of Alfonsus Vargas (first half of the 14th century). I have recently finished the transcription of Q. 1.3 from the only extant complete manuscript: codex Cremona B.Governativa 113 (Nl-12193). According to Zumkeller (1966) this very quaestion appears to have survived in another manuscript: Quaestio ordinata de universalibus contra realistas, which was preserved at the Augustinian Historical Insitute, New York. Unfortunately this copy appears to have gone amiss, as the director of the AHI, the reverend Karl Gersbach OSA, told me. Since, according to Zumkeller, there should exist a photocopy of the very same text at the Augustiner Institut in Wuerzburg, father Gersbach referred me to this site. I hope that someone can help us out. Just to make sure I have also been contacting dr Petzolt of the Ostkirchliches-Institut at wuerzburg.
